When specifying large cooling fans for industrial use, several critical factors must be thoroughly considered:

Duty Requirements – Understand the airflow capacity, pressure and runtime needs to select a fan properly sized for the thermal load. Consult engineering performance curves.

Environmental Conditions – Ensure the fan is rated for wash-down, moisture, vibration, temperature extremes and any hazardous vapors present. Corrosion-resistant materials may be needed.
